"Give Peace a Chance"
John Lennon
Ev'rybody's talking about
Bagism, Shagism, Dragism, Madism, Ragism, Tagism
This-ism, that-ism, is-m, is-m, is-m.
All we are saying is give peace a chance
All we are saying is give peace a chance
C'monEv'rybody's talking about Ministers,
Sinisters, Banisters and canisters
Bishops and Fishops and Rabbis and Pop eyes,
And bye bye, bye byes.
All we are saying is give peace a chance
The tone of this song has a little frustration in it because people are getting sick of war. The message of the song is to try to have peace with our enemies beacause if you dont they will always be our enemies. This song is way against the war. The people in the US were probably split in half on going against it or for the war.
This picture is an example of the Peaceful Time of the Vietnam War because they have a break from the on going battle. The picture shows two soldiers resting before have to start shooting again. They Charished all these times because these were the only times they got to rest.
This picture shows a soldier going into the battle field. This shows the times of war during vietnam.
The difference between these two pictures is that the peaceful times shows the relaxing days and the times of war picture shows the intense times of Vietnam. If my homeland was destroyed from war i wouldnt be happy and i would have to do something about it. Your homeland is the only place you can feel comfortable in this crazy world.

Painting Of Man At the Memorial Wall
In the painting a man is leaning against the vietnam war memorial wall. The man in the suit is feeling really upset because he was in the Vietnam War and he survived. If i was in the Vietnam war and i survived it, it would be hard for me to deal with the pictures in my mind of the war. The man and the accident are related because maybe he was in the accident and was trhe only one to survive.

Mark Smith Jr was born January 21, 1945 and his date of casualty was May 18, 1967. He Lived in Philadelphia, PA. He was in the Army branch of the military. He died in South Vietnam.
I have been at the Memorial Wall and stood in front of the wall and saw all the names. Its really sad to see all the names that foughtfor our country and didnt make it. it would be hard to stand at the wall and see one of my family members and it would also be an honor because i would know that my family had a big part in our freedom. i did have family members that were in the war but they all survived.
